Dr. Mousavi obtained her medical degree in 1993.  Upon graduation, she spent one year employed as an assistant professor of medicine at University.  She then went on to serve as Chief of the Emergency Department.

 

Dr. Mousavi trained at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami (“JMH/UM”) in the field of  Anatomic and Clinical pathology residency program at JMH/UM in 2002.  She was elected as Chief Resident by her program director from 2004-2005, and she completed her residency in 2006.  Dr. Mousavi then completed a fellowship in cytopathology at JMH/UM from 2006-2007.  She has been employed primarily as an Anatomic and Clinical pathologist since 2007 at several hospital-affiliated pathology laboratories, and has been licensed to practice as a physician in the State of Florida since 2005.

 

            In addition to her background and training in pathology, Dr. Mousavi also has a professional interest in the areas of non-surgical aesthetics, Metabolic and Alternative medicine.  Since 2008, she has completed training and obtained multiple certifications in aesthetics field from different well-known organizations in the administration of injectable treatments of products such as: Dysport, Botox, Xiomen, Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm and many more.  She has also completed training in treatments involving laser therapy, Mesotherapy, Carboxytherapy and Platelet-Rich Plasma (“PRP”) infusions.  Dr. Mousavi has also been pursuing her fellowship in Anti-Aging Medicine from the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine since 2011. 

 

 

With her pathology back ground, interpretation of lab results and putting together all required data; treatment is easier and more successful.
